Privacy: what we collect, and what we do not

This website

motivationbot.com is a set of static pages. There is no login, no advertising, and nothing here asks you for your name, your email or anything else about you.

We do count visits, and we count them ourselves on our own server rather than handing you to somebody else's tracker. A visit records the page you opened, the link or tag that sent you here, your browser's language, and a random number that ties together the pages of one visit — your browser forgets that number the moment you close the tab. Your IP address is used once, to work out roughly how many separate people came on a given day, and is never stored: what is kept instead is a scrambled value that changes daily and cannot be traced back to you or matched against yesterday's.

No third-party analytics, advertising or social script runs on this site. Nothing you do here is shared with anyone else, nothing is used to build a profile of you, and nothing follows you to other websites. If you tap a link to Telegram, the tag that brought you here travels with it, so that we can tell which page led to a conversation — and that is the whole of it.

Like any website, the server that delivers the pages keeps standard server logs: your IP address, the page you requested, the time, and the browser you used. Those logs exist to keep the site running and are not used to build a profile of you.

The bots on Telegram

Michelle, Sofia Storm and Sofia Swift are Telegram bots. Everything you say to them is said inside Telegram, so Telegram's rules for bots apply: a bot never sees your phone number unless you choose to share it, and you can go by a username and hide your number entirely.

When you send a message, a voice note or a photo, it is passed to third-party AI providers so that a reply can be generated. Voice notes are transcribed to text, photos are turned into a short text description, and the text of the conversation is sent to a language model to write her answer. Audio and image files are not kept after they have been processed.

The text of your conversation is stored so that she can remember what you told her, along with a short summary of what she has learned about you over time. That is what lets her ask tomorrow about the thing you mentioned today. It is used for that purpose and to keep the service working, and for nothing else. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.

Paid passes are bought inside Telegram using Telegram's own payment system. We receive a record that a payment happened and what it was for. We never see your card or bank details; Telegram and its payment providers handle those.

Deleting your data

You can delete the chat with any of the bots in Telegram at any time, and you can block a bot in one tap. If you also want the stored conversation and summary removed on our side, contact us as described below and say which bot you talked to; we will erase it.

If you only want her to stop writing first, you do not need to delete anything. Type /daily in the chat and the daily message switches off. The same command switches it back on.

Age

The service is for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly keep conversations from anyone younger; if you believe we do, tell us and we will delete them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new revision month at the top. Keep using the bots after a change and you are agreeing to the new version.
