Terms: what the service is and how to use it

The service

MotivationBot is a set of Telegram bots, currently three: Michelle, Sofia Storm and Sofia Swift. Each is an AI companion built around motivation and discipline. She sends a daily message with a quotation and a photo, talks with you about training, work and the things you keep putting off, understands voice notes and photos, and can reply with her voice. By opening a chat with any of the bots, you agree to these terms.

Who may use it

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

You also need a Telegram account, which is governed by Telegram's terms of service. We have no control over Telegram and are not responsible for it.

The characters are fictional

Michelle, Sofia Storm and Sofia Swift are fictional characters. Their replies, their voice messages and the descriptions of their days are generated by artificial intelligence. They are not real people, and nothing they say is a statement by a person. A reply can be wrong, inconsistent or occasionally strange; that is the nature of the technology, and you use it knowing that.

Not professional advice

Nothing said by the bots or on this website is medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and none of it should be treated as such. The characters say "see a professional" when a question needs one, and they mean it. If you are dealing with something serious, talk to a qualified person. The service is a motivational companion, not a substitute for care.

Acceptable use

Use the bots for what they are for: conversation about your training, your work, your habits and your day. Do not use them to harass anyone, to generate content that is illegal where you live, to attempt to extract or reverse-engineer the system behind them, or to send automated traffic. We may restrict or end access for anyone who breaks these rules, without notice.

Free use and paid passes

The service is free to start, with a number of free messages each day. Paid passes, for a day or for a month, remove that daily limit and work across all of one character's chats. Passes are sold inside Telegram through Telegram's own payment system, and the purchase is governed by Telegram's terms and its payment provider's terms. The price is shown in Telegram at the moment of purchase. Refunds, where available, are handled through Telegram.

A pass buys access to the service for its period. It does not buy any guarantee about the content of replies, and it does not transfer to another person.

Availability and changes

We try to keep the bots running around the clock and to answer every message, but we do not promise either; AI providers, Telegram and our own servers all have bad days. We may change the service, add or remove features or characters, change prices for future purchases, or stop the service altogether. Where we can, we will say so in advance.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it or from being unable to use it, including anything you decide to do because of something a character said. Where the law does not allow that limitation, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the month before the claim.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version is published on this page with a new revision month at the top. Continuing to use the bots after a change means you accept the new version.
